Operation steps of 5L 10L 20L 50L rotary evaporator:


1. Preparation:

·After assembling the 5L 10L 20L 50L rotary evaporator, after connecting the cryopump and vacuum pump. (The vacuum tube of the vacuum pump is connected to the interface in the middle of the rotary evaporator condenser, and the silicone tube of the cryopump is connected to the interfaces on both sides of the condenser)

· Turn on the cryopump (cycle first, then refrigeration).

·Turn on the vacuum pump, start vacuuming, and pay attention to the reading of the vacuum gauge. When the vacuum gauge maintains the maximum vacuum for a period of time, it indicates that the equipment is well sealed and can start feeding.

2. Feeding:

Feeding method: first pump the rotary evaporator into a negative pressure state, connect the feeding valve with the sample to be added with a hose, open the valve of the feeding valve, the sample will be directly pumped into the rotary bottle, and close the feeding after the feeding is completed valve valve. It is recommended to add no more than one-half of the spinner bottle each time.

3. Turn on the machine, adjust the height and heat the heating bath:

Power on: Turn on the power, turn on the "Power Switch" on the left side of the host, and the device will start

·Adjust the height of the heating bath: adjust the height of the heating bath by pressing the upper triangle and the lower triangle on the operation panel, so that the rotating bottle is placed in the water bath. Press the triangle heating pot to descend, and press the upper triangle heating pot to rise.

·Pour pure water into the bath, submerge 1/2 of the spinner bottle, just don't overflow.

· Rotating bottle rotation:

Speed setting: Press the button to enter the setting interface, the first line of the LCD screen displays the temperature number flashes, press it again and the second line of speed flashes, turn the knob to adjust the speed value, turn it clockwise to increase the value, and turn it counterclockwise The value decreases. After setting the desired speed, wait for a few seconds, the flashing stops, and the set speed is automatically saved.

Spin Start: Press the ON key to start spinning.

· Heating bath:

Temperature setting: Press the control button to enter the setting interface, the first line of the LCD screen displays the temperature number flashing, turn the knob to adjust the temperature value, turn the knob clockwise to increase the value, and turn it counterclockwise to decrease the value. After setting to the desired temperature, wait for a few seconds, the flashing stops, and the set temperature is automatically saved.

·Heating start: Turn on the heating bath.

·Feeding without stopping. After the rotary evaporator works normally for a period of time, the raw material solution in the rotary bottle may have been evaporated, but there is still a lot of space in the receiving bottle. When you want to evaporate some raw material solution but do not want to start vacuuming again, please repeat The charging method of step 3.

4. Feeding:

When discharging R-1005 R-1010 R-1020 R-1050, first close the condenser connector valve, open the exhaust valve on the recovery bottle to reduce the pressure in the recovery bottle, and then open the discharge valve to discharge.

5. Downtime:

·Stop the rotation of the rotary bottle, and adjust the lift so that the rotary bottle leaves the water bath.

·Open the feed pipe plug to release the internal vacuum.

·Turn off the pressure reducing device.

·If you do not continue to add the sample, please also turn off the cooling water circulation device and the water bath. (*After the concentration is over, the water bath or spinner bottle will not cool down immediately, it is still high temperature, be careful of burns!)

·Removal of the rotary bottle: insert a Phillips screwdriver into the rotary locking hole of the machine head (leftward direction) to fix the rotary shaft, use a bottle ejector to loosen the rotary bottle fixing nut, and remove the rotary bottle.

6. Disposal after shutdown:

·When not in use for a long time, please turn off the power switch and disconnect the power supply.
